A big THANK YOU to all the Noe Valley NERTs who braved the elements to come to our last meeting. Hopefully the weather will be better for our next meeting.

NERT MINI-DRILL

SATURDAY FEB. 26 9:00 a.m. - Noon
San Francisco County Fair Bldg. in Golden Gate Park
(near the Lincoln and 9th Ave. entrance to the park)

Bring your helmet and your vest. If you are a HAM, bring your radio too! The focus of the drill will be START and Staging Area.

HCT 101 Class
(aka: NERT HCT BASIC HAM Overview and General Information and Radio Protocols and Procedures Training)

Saturday Feb. 19 8:45 a.m. - noon
St. Teresa Church
19th and Connecticut Sts. on Potrero Hill

For those of you who are trained HAM, have radios, and don't know what to do with them (or how to operate the damn things), or for those of you interested in HAM radio and considering taking the HAM training, this class is for you! Geared primarily toward NERT Coordinators and those who want to be coordinators and/or take on more of a leadership role in their neighborhoods, this College is for you! Contact me if you are interested and I'll hook you up.

SIGN-UP YOUR FAMILY, FRIENDS, NEIGHBORS, THE MAILMAN, EVERYBODY AND ANYBODY UP FOR NERT CLASSES!

The new class schedule is out! There are five classes currently scheduled at various locations throughout the city. Anybody/everybody is eligible to take the classes at any of the locations.
